Senior Subsea Completion Engineer
Job description
Subsea Completion Engineer for early-phase planning for the upcoming Skarfjell project.
The Subsea Completion Engineer will be a part of the D&W Projects group.
Main tasks will be participation in to the “Front end engineering and design (FEED)” process for the Skarfjell project, representing Drilling and Wells, in addition to work related to ITT's and other contract work.

Managing D&W interfaces in the FEED (Front end engineering and design) process for the Skarfjell project early phase work - be an integrated part in the FEED team
Follow up delivery of D&W subsea related equipment
Follow up and QA/QC subsea and completion supplier's services, studies and equipment deliveries
Follow up interfaces between subsea/project disciplines and D&W activities, including interface testing and deliveries (typically SIT/SUT).
Provide technical input and evaluation to tenders and contracts as required. Primarily subsea EPC/TSA contracts.
Independently design subsea well completions and well interventions to meet the objective of the wells projects and in accordance to governing regulations processes and procedures.
Prepare relevant input to basis of design, main drilling and completion programs, drilling and completion activity programs, D&C part of the PDOs, risk assessments, budget cost estimates, AFE's, handover documentation and final well reports.
Onshore duty and Offshore work and follow up as required.
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering or other relevant education.
Minimum 10 years experience in NCS Drilling/Completion/Well Intervention/Subsea operations.
Background from both Contractor and Operator is desired.
Relevant experience with early phase planning (FEED processes and input). Knowledge to WH fatigue, GRA etc. analysis and methodology is preferred.
Experience with SPS EPC/TSA ITT process, tender evaluation and contract management is required.
Relevant experience with execution of subsea projects/field development is required.
Relevant experience and sound technical understanding of planning and execution of subsea drilling and completions operations.
Relevant offshore experience.
Good knowledge of NCS regulations and relevant standards.
Experience with workover and well testing operations is desired.
Experience from early phase field development planning (FEED), preferable from both Contractor and Operator side, is required
Both onshore and offshore subsea completion experience from floaters are preferred.
Fluent in English (oral and written). Knowledge of Norwegian is desirable.
