IAP Planner

Job description

The IAP Planner (Integrated Activity Planner) will support the high level planning function across all Assets and Functions in Company. The overall objective is to support the implementation of tools and processes to improve the planning and planning culture in the Company.

Initially the role will be to support the development and establishment of the overall Integrated Activity Planning Guidelines and Standards (incorporating reporting and processes requirements), implement, execute then steward them thereafter.

A large part of the role will be to coach and support Management, planners the wider Planning Community (e.g. Plan Owners, Activity Owners) Functions and Assets in developing and incorporating with the global Integrated Activity Plans and Processes.

The position extends beyond traditional responsibilities and background for a traditional planner. Experience from Operator/Portfolio-planning is required.

Ability to interact with the entire organisation is key. The IAP Planner is expected to demonstrate a high level of initiative and must be self-driven.

Knowledge of planning tools and -principles (e.g. Prima Vera/MS Project) is required.

Qualifications

University degree in oil & gas business, engineering or similar.

Ability to understand needs of planning of all levels of organisation and difference between the needs of different stakeholders.

Experience in co-ordinating, collating and managing and use of Integrated Activity Plans

Strong Integration and Facilitation Skills.

Reasonable knowledge of overall E&P lifecycle , with experience with working with, assets, technical functions (Drilling, Projects etc.) as well as Support functions (e.g. Finance)

Requires awareness and understanding of contributions by other disciplines, and ability to see own work within a multidisciplinary cooperation: a holistic understanding of E&P business.

Ability to address complex issues and to provide guidance to others on how work should be conducted.

Ability to communicate highly specialist technical guidance/advice to others in an understandable way.

Minimum 5 years relevant experience in petroleum / oil and gas industry.

Strong HSE leadership skills in an oil & gas environment.

Good communication skills in English.
