Senior Piping Designer PDMS

Job description

• Master 3D design and have good skills in use of PDMS
• Prepare and carry-out discipline check of drawings
• Be able to read and understand P&ID, isometric drawings
• Execute MTO export and produce MTO reports
• Be able to use 3D review tool and participate in design review
• Insert data to engineering registry
• Give input to plan and to estimate own scope
• Produce requisitions materials           

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor degree  
• Piping Experience in Pre-Engineering, Detail Engineering, Prefab and Installation Follow-on and  As-Built phase in Norway
• Broad experience in use of PDMS software
• Be familiar with the other main subject areas within piping (Layout, support, stress, material handling)
• Have basic knowledge in use of 2D export go 2D editing
• Knowledge of relevant pipe specs and ASME codes
• Have some knowledge of process-systems and utility-systems
• Have some knowledge of mechanical- / process equipment
• Have good knowledge to laws, standards and norms applicable for the discipline
• Knowledge of EIS and Statoil STID
• Statoil experience is preferable
