Senior Engineer - Struktur

Job description

• Give input to plan and to estimate own scope of work
• Have good knowledge to laws, standards and norms within the discipline
• Have good knowledge to analysing tools
• Have good understanding of structural design
• Be capable of doing manual calculations
• Have knowledge about Aibel specific tools for discipline in execution of work, and have acceptable skills in using tools to carry-out work as expected by position
• Have good knowledge to max span and flexibility evaluation
• PDMS design/draft
• Prepare and check work packages
• Produce and carry-out discipline check of drawings and documents

Qualifications

• Masters or bachelor degree in structural engineering 
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within offshore-related projects in Norway. Experience must cover strength analysis of main structures (e.g. offshore modules) and secondary outfitting structures (e.g. deck structures, monorails, pad eyes, walkways, pipe supports, access platforms etc.)
• Analysis software as StaadPro, Sesam, MathCAD
• Norsok-standards, NS3472, Eurocode and DNV-regulations
• Structural design by use of PDMS, and Microstation 2D/3D
