Pipe Support - PDMS

Job description

- 3D design of pipe support with use of PDMS
- Read and understand P&ID, Isometric drawings
- Carry-out basis calculations of pipe supports
- Prepare, check and approve MTO
- Be able to use 3D review tools in own discipline work
- Insert data to engineering registry
- Give input to plan and to estimate own scope
- Produce requisitions
- Participate on site surveys (on-/offshore)

 

Qualifications

- Have good knowledge of pipe supports, max span and flexilitility evalution in Pre-Engineering, detail 
  engineering, prefab and installation follow-on and as-built phase in Norway
- Know and understand the principles behind piping arrangement
- Broad experience in use of PDMS software
- Have some understanding of material technology
- Have knowledge about Aibel specific tools for discipline in execution of work and have acceptable skills
  in using tools to carry-out work as expected by position
- Have good knowledge of laws, standars and norms applicable for the discipline
- Be familiar with other main subject areas within piping (layout, support, stress, material handling)
- Have knowledge in use of 2D export go 2D editing
- Knowledge of EIS and Statoil STID
- Statoil experience is preferable

- Have good communication skills in English and Norwegian (preferably) both orally and in wirting
- Have a cooperative working attitude

- Be systematic and accurate

- Have a high lojalty to deadline and quality requirements

- Have the ability to see multiple design  cases (solution oriented)

- Contribute to on the job training for oneself and others. Seek relevant information from others in order to
  complete own tasks.
