Senior Structural Engineer

Job description

Experienced Structural Engineer who can perform typical engineering tasks to one of our potential new projects in Stavanger, which can participate in all aspects of engineering and construction development within our projects, this also involves liaison with clients, equipment suppliers and other internal disciplines.

Job description:

-Prepare structural documentation: design calculations and analysis, design reports, installation descriptions, and offshore surveys.

-Discipline check of: design calculations and analysis, design reports, structural drawings, engineering work packs, job cards and structural fabrication records.

Qualifications

Formal higher education degree in engineering is preferred.

-Experience from maintenance and modification project in Oil and Gas industry is essential.

-Have the ability to work independently and in a team, to be proactive and focused on installation.

-Familiar with prevailing regulations.

-Concerned in multidiscipline problems.

-Good knowledge of Staad Pro and Sesam Genie.

-Knowledge of PDMS/E3D to review the model.

-Good communication skills in English.

-Experience with Norsok and Eurocode

-Preferred:

-Preferable experience with Proarc and IFS (Or similar)

-Communication skills in Norwegian.
