Technical Safety Engineer - SIL
Job description
• SIS/SIL Engineering
• SIL allocation
• Perform LOPA
• Plan and prepare Functional Safety Assessment (3rd party facilitator)
• Prepare/update Safety Requirement Specification (SRS)
• Review of vendor SAR's and SIL certificates
• SIL compliance calculations
• SIS integrator (Coordinate SIS activities across contractual interfaces and document the overall compliance)
• General Technical Safety engineering
Qualifications
Master degree – technical safety
• Min. 5 years experience from modification projects in the oil and gas industry
• Experience with IEC 61508/61511 and Norsk Olje og Gass Guideline 070
• In depth knowledge of SIS/SIL and process safety design
• Experience with major modifications on live platforms
• Experience with tie-back projects and subsea safety barriers
• Multidiscipline knowledge
• Statoil experience is preferable
Have good communication skills in English and Norwegian, both orally and in writing
• Have a cooperative working attitude
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Have the ability to see multiple design – cases (solution oriented)
• Contribute to on the job training for oneself and others. Seek relevant information from others in order to complete own tasks
