Piping Designer

Job description

• Perform/evaluate Pipe design engineering (Route pipe using PDMS) work in Study Phase and Detail Engineering
• Multidiscipline modelling of white discipline (Cable trays, HVAC mm.)
• Modelling of Safety equipment and mechanical equipment in PDMS
• Modelling of Material Handling
• Pipe support Design in PDMS
• Prepare input for Piping/Layout for Design and Constructability Review
• Perform Clash checking
• Perform Design Presentations
• Weight report input
• Prepare draft drawing
• Active participation in project team including working together with customer

Qualifications

• Minimum technical college
• Multidiscipline experience with 3D modelling in Pre-Engineering, Detail Engineering, Prefab and Installation Follow-on and  As-Built phase in Norway
• Piping Design in PDMS
• Multidiscipline modelling in PDMS
• Layout
• Preparation of work-packs
• Experience from Offshore platform, Offshore survey
• Knowledge of relevant pipe specs
• Preferable knowledge of EIS or similar purchase systems
• Statoil experience is preferable
