Senior Engineer Technical Safety, Fire & Gas

Job description

• Design of Fire & Gas detection system particular with respect to following:
• Primary task: Review of the 3D model in the Navisworks program and providing input for location of fire and gas detectors (X,Y,Z coordinates) in the 3D model (the actual modelling is done by 3D instrument resources)
• Implement the changes based on review of the comments and results from dispersion simulations
• Secondary task: Assist / prepare the FPDS for all detection areas

Qualifications

• Min. 10 years working experience within specified relevant tasks as described above from offshore Greenfield detail engineering projects
• Working experience with Greenfield projects from Norwegian Sector
• Detail knowledge in Petroleum requirements in Norway (NORSOK, Ptil, Equinor’s TRs/GLs (Statoil))
• Ability to work independently and thorough as well as ability to work in team
• Multidiscipline understanding
• Good communication skills
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Be proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
• Communicate well in English – both oral and in writing
