Senior Purchaser Equitment
Job description
• Good knowledge of market and products
• Responsible for procurement of equipment packages from inquiry to delivery to fabrication site:
o Prepare and issue inquiries
o Bid clarification and evaluations
o Establish and execute purchase orders / contracts
o Follow up the delivery and expedite vendors
o Handle invoices
• Arrange/participate in meetings and supplier visits
• Budget, cost and progress establishing, follow up and reporting
• Close out, evaluation of use of Liquidated Damages, experience transfer
• Good and tight cooperation with Engineering for procurement and Package Engineers
Qualifications
Mandatory Education required:
• Bachelor or Master Degree. Lack of education can be compensated with relevant experience
• Technical understanding will be an advantage
Mandatory Work Experience required:
• 5-10 years experience from purchase of equipment within the oil&gas and energy sector
• EPC project experience
Mandatory Qualifications required:
• Good communication skills in English - both orally and in writing
• Communication skills in German – orally - is an advantage
• Commercial awareness and negotiating skill
• Ability to work independently as well as in team
• Cooperative working attitude
• High efficiency and loyalty to project plans, deadlines and quality requirements
• Good knowledge of Procurement ERP systems: ProArc, SAP, MS office, Office 365
• Systematic and accurate
• Proactive, seeking advice and share own experiences with others
