Structural engineer analysis-calculation

Job description

• Structural analysis, calculations and design reports of main, secondary and outfitting structures
• Execute structural concept studies/ FEED studies
• Checking of other engineers analysis, calculations reports
• Interaction with other disciplines
   

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry in Norway
• Understanding both design and strength analysis of main structures (e.g. offshore modules) and secondary outfitting structures (e.g. deck structures, monorails, pad eyes, walkways, pipe supports, access  platforms etc.)
• Participation in FEED studies and EPCIC projects
• Experienced with:
• o Analysis software StaadPro, Sesam, Abaqus, MathCAD
• o Norsok-standards, NS-standards, Eurocodes and DNV-regulations
