Pipe Support Engineer - PDMS

Job description

• Design pipe supports in PDMS
• Carry-out basic calculations of pipe supports
• Prepare, check and approve MTO
• Insert data to engineering registry
• Give input to plan and to estimate own scope
• Produce requisitions
• Participate on site surveys (on-/ offshore)

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience within the Oil & Gas industry in Norway
• Broad experience in design of pipe support with use of PDMS incl. draft
• Have good knowledge to max span and flexibility evaluation
• Be familiar with the other main subject areas within piping (PDMS design/draft, support, stress, layout, material handling)
• Have good knowledge of laws, standards and norms applicable for the discipline
